Combining all the basic rules and skills of the traditional game with modifications designed to get everybody involved it is a great game for anyone looking to improve their fitness in a fun and exciting team environment.

NEW RULES FOR 2016

1. The 'Centre' can shoot a 2 point goal from outside the goal circle

2. Players can score off the back net

3. No goal tending allowed

4. Players no longer have to wait for opposition players to stand out of play

5. Only one foot required in the circle for a Centre pass

5-A-SIDE NETBALL
A new and exciting adaptation of the game, 5-a-side Netball at Box Hill Indoor Sports is similar to the format recently seen in the Fast 5 Netball World Series. Unique rules include:

• No Wing Attack (WA) or Wing Defence (WD)
• Goal Attack (GA) and Goal Shooter (GS) can shoot from outside the goal circle for a 2 point goal
• Centre (C) can also shoot from outside the goal circle for a 2 point goal
• A ‘Power Play’ quarter whereby goals scored by a team count as double

'SUPER 7' NETBALL

Played on our brand new taraflex surface, Full Court Netball has arrived at Box Hill Indoor Sports. With no rebounding off the nets, and lines on the court marking when the ball is in play, this version of the game requires a different Netball skillset.

Played on a larger court, get ready for a great work out!
